Base station setup

Add WiFi networks (home, club, phone hotspot) and set the race for a LoRa base station.

Over USB

Plug the base station into this computer with a USB cable, then click Connect and pick its serial port (usually USB Serial, wchusbserial or CP210x). Works without any WiFi. Close the Arduino Serial Monitor first — only one program can use the port.

From a phone (no cable)

  1. Power the base station on and wait for the screen.
  2. On your phone, join WiFi Base-Setup, password tracker1.
  3. The settings page should open by itself. If it doesn't, open http://192.168.4.1/settings.
  4. Tap Scan for networks, pick your hotspot or club WiFi, enter its password, and Save.

The setup network is always on, even when the base can't reach any WiFi. While you are on the settings page the base holds off joining other networks so you don't get disconnected.
